Friedrich Froebal a german educator is considered the creator of the first kindergarten. (Britannica, n.d.)

-Was also referred to as the father of childhood education

Reggio Emilia emerged as a new way for children to learn and attend school. (Reggio Children, n.d.)

-It allowed the children to be the center point

-Project based learning

-Believed the environment to be a “third” teacher

-Gave all students equal opportunities to receive knowledge
